Giraffe Family baby quilt

I bought this “Sewfreshquilts” pattern as a kit from Keepsake Quilting. It had excellent instructions and came together quickly. I love how it turned out. It didn’t have tails on the pattern, so I braided some trim and sewed them on.

Airplanes for a Baby Boy

One of the young Moms at church is about to have her 8th baby. She has never had a quilt...so I made this one for her. The fabric is Little Flyers by Riley Blake. I saw a similar quilt on Pinterest so I drew the applique planes. I used Baby ricrac to simulate the exhaust on the planes and colored buttons to simulate attaching the engine propeller. I backed the quilt with soft and warm minky. I also made an airplane receiving blanket and two matching burp cloths.

Stuffed Bear
