This is a nice easy fast free pattern from All People Quilt. Instead of a 4.5" square as called for in the pattern, I used 5" squares. Squares are mostly from the Landon Creek line by Paula Barnes, but I did throw a few others in. Border and backing were out of my stash. New Years Resolution, buy less, use more stash, LOL. Measures 22' x 43"

Table Runner

This is my "go to" pattern for a quick table runner. It's made with mini charms and background yardage. Pattern is called Scrappy Trails from Pieced Tree patterns, but doesn't call for a border. The border increases it from a 10.5" x 42.5" runner to 16" x 48".

Kite Quilt

This is the first large quilt that I made. I made it for my daughter for Christmas this year. When I saw the Kite Season pattern from Missouri Star I knew I needed to make this for her. Her sorority (Kappa Alpha Theta) colors are black and gold and a kite is one of their symbols.

Lone Star is supposed to be 8 points

I had a knee replacement on 11.4.19, I work in retail so I was unable to go back to work for 2 months. I was going crazy after 5 days of not doing anything. I began sewing a couple years ago, purses and wallets and such. After watching way too much YouTube, you all know what I mean, I decided to try a Lone Star wall hanging. Oh yeah, nopattern but really how hard can it be. Well it turned out cute, loving the fabric,but next time I will cut at 60 degrees, not 45.

Aurora Borealis

My husband is from Michigan's UP (the Keweenaw). We moved 20+ years ago to find work but he still misses it. I made him this quilt remembering how beautiful the Northern Lights were on crisp cool nights in the UP. The goofy dog fabric backing is a tip of the hat to our huskies.
